The Caring For Country Fund

I am starting this fund as a means to liberating myself, ecosystems and others from the cycle of being dependent on funds from private organisations, not-for-profits and government authorities to continue our work.

This is mutual aid in exchange for my labour which restores and cares for Country.

Your contributions will enable me to survive and house my loved ones under this current regime.

I hope in time we can expand this experiment and use our collective funds for other people’s projects. To care for this world and our communities.

This an anti-colonial experiment in counter-economics.

The sites I am serving are only to be disclosed to contributors and are in confidence. This is to protect the broader community of land protectors and our sacred relations with each other.

10% of my hourly rate will be paid to the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Services, Mutual Aid for First Nations People, other marginalised community members, the Bush Workers Collective and Black Peoples Union instead of the usual GST.

CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITY

I keep excellent works records and reporting will be available or can be declined on request (if you don’t need or want to hear about it).

The goal is raise approximately $5000 to maintain continuity of works from January through to June 2026.
